We here at ArcDatum are trying to get some feedback on our new applications Wiki Lecturer Free and Wiki Lecturer Pro. It basically combines Wikipedia and Music player features to create your own personal educational audio book containing all the world's knowledge. Android is supported for now and we need to test its viability as a useful app before porting it to other platforms.

    Some features:
Reads your article to you using Text-to-Speech
Lets you build play queues (just like playlists in music players)
Has image zoom capability (something we found that wiki apps don't have; basically it lets you click any image link and it'll grab the full size version for you)
Supports many languages both for reading and in Text-to-Speech
    Many more

Do note that some of the greatest features (like playing in the background and the widget) are only available in the Pro version for obvious reasons.

    Free version:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arcdatum.wikilecturer&feature=search_result

    Pro version:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arcdatum.wikilecturerPro&feature=search_result

Note: You can just look up "Wiki Lecturer" in the Play store and you'll find us. In other languages like French it might be "Wiki Professeur" etc. We will update this post with the actual play links when XDA lets us. We'll post links, pictures and screenshots the second the forum lets us.

Please do remember that our app is in it's early stages and that we are looking to improve it according to user concerns. We are not necessarily looking for a full review at this time but if you feel that the app is ready for one, do let us know.

If you have any questions, comments, or ideas as to how we can further our marketing efforts you can contact us at arcdatum@gmail.com

Edit: added the Google Play links

We have done a very large overhaul of our new app released only a month and a bit ago. It's called Wikipedia Lecturer Free/Pro and it basically turns all of Wikipedia into an audio book using Android's Text to Speech engine.

We have included great new features including:

    - Image zoom utility (doesn't take you to another webpage)
    - Play queue reordering (ListView drag and drop)
    - Music player like widget
    - Table of contents
    - Holo Theme for Android 3.0+ users
    - Facebook integration
    - and more

    Free version:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arcdatum.wikilecturer

    Pro version:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arcdatum.wikilecturerPro

Overall we just need some feedback on the app as a whole and want to hear about what would make it better for you, our (potential) users. We're open to pretty much anything.

Let us know what you think.

    Edit: fixed URLs

We're trying to get some feedback on our new Android game Popcorn Race.

    • In house built popcorn physics
    • Satisfying sound effects
    • Facebook sharing
    • Normal and Kernel modes of play

Popcorn Race has cute graphics and great satisfying sound effects when you pop your popcorn. It's simple, fun to play, and you can even share your score on Facebook.

    App link:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arcdatum.popcornrace

Note: The app is in its early stages and are open to any suggestions anyone might have.

    Thanks for your time

We have developed a new simple but cute game. You have to save your cute rubber duckies from the whirlpool by shooting bubbles at them to push them off to the side or top of the screen. Gravity-like forces are constantly pulling them in so the earlier you divert them the easier it will be. The left half of the screen fires the left turret and the right half the right turret. Good luck!

It's a cheeky game with some in house built physics, cute graphics, satisfying sounds, and even some upgrades.
