Hello everyone,
I'm using samsung tab3 and would like to know if Andriod OS has a habit of compressing data on external SD Card or Internal Flash in case if the data stored exceeds or approaches the data limit. If yes in which format will the data be compressed to? Can i retrieve the data back uncompress that manually. What had happened is I have lost or found MBs of data missing from my tablet PC external storage. So just checking if the data is in compressed form ? Can i retrieve the missing data ?
I found few samples of data being renamed and copied to in path "emulated/cache/0/samsung... " I wonder how could that happen ..?
Thanks,
Ganesh
