I was wondering if I root & S-off the Wildfire S, add/remove apps after it is rooted & s-offed, if I foul it up (assuming I don't brick the phone) when I am adding apps (which need root) will the factory reset still reset it to as it was when it first came out of the box?

Or, if I install one of the ROMS floating around and assuming it does not brick the phone, will factory reset put the original rom back in place/set it all back like it was when it first came out of the box?

    It's a Virgin Mobile Wildfire S. Thanks!

I did that twice. The first time it bricked my phone. I had the optimus through virgin mobile. The second time it worked using another optimus that my brother had laying around. So it should work assuming it doesn't brick. It's just a bit of a gamble LOL!
