will not charge or turn on

HTC 4G EVO LTE will not turn on or charge, light does not appear when plugged into charger. The only sign of anything is when plugged into the computer it makes to sound like it identifies it but then makes the sound that it doesn't. What is the problem and is it fixable?

You could try leaving it on charge over night, but I think you might need to give your network (Sprint?) or HTC a call, sorry.
