Help will receive sms but not send...help...amber

I have a captivate that has been flashed with several roms....everything worked perfectly until recently. I can not send sms but I do receive them just fine. it doesn't seem to matter what rom I am running. I have flashed apex 9.2 which is a gingerbread 2.3.4 rom. I have upgraded the boot loaders. I have tried flashing different roms with no success...still can't send sms...but recieve just fine. any ideas??? Thanks...amber
