Will sprint sell on opening day

Will the sprint stores sell the evo on june 4th or will they have to wait? I never pre-ordered and some threads have said that pre ordering is closed.

Yes Sprint Stores will be selling them on June 4th. According to Sprint they will have the phone available through all their channels i.e. Sprint Stores, Sprint website, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Walmart, etc.

yes i chatted online with 2 reps from sprint. they both stated the sprint stores will have them in stock on june 4th.

If you show up early to a corporate store that didn't pre sell you have a good shot of walking away with one. Check first because some corporate stores have lists even though they really aren't supposed to.

I heard from my local Sprint store in Los Angeles that we could go in on June 3 and reserve one for june 4. Any confirmations of this?

I'm in Indianapolis and my store said its a 1st come 1st serve basis. They are not reserving or pre-ordering.

My local sprint store told me about a week ago that they weren't prolly gonna get any in for atleast a month after release because we aren't in a 4g area and the majority of the first shipments are going to 4g markets. Thats why i pre-ordered at Radio Shack.

i live 60 miles outside of Washington D.C. so i dunno thats what they said here.

I walked into a Sprint Store at the Menlo Park Mall in NJ Saturday and they had a "waiting list" 4 pages long. I was really surprised. There had to be close to 100 names on it. He said they would call and it would be "1st come first served" to pick it up.
