Support Will this New Official HTC One X+ update work with the HTC One X

    So I was looking into the new 4.2.2 update for my HTC One X and I ran across this, I dont want to mess my phone up so OI was hoping that maybe somebody had already tried it ...any feed back would be appriciated

    Unfortunately, no. The AT&T One X and the One X+ are totally different phones.

    I just got an update on the HTC One X (ATT version) and installed it. Maybe there is another one coming but this one did not change my Android Version. Still shows in Software Information:

    Android Version- 4.1.1
    HTC Sense- 4+
    Software Number- 3.18.502.9 710RD
    HTC SDK API level- 4.63
    HTC Extension version- HTCExtension_Sense45_2

    Not sure what really changed. It did download a small file and went through an install and reboot. Any ideas?

    Just read that you can be the big update by manually setting your date up to January 30th and then selecting the software update button. It seems to be working. I am now downloading a file over 500mb. That should be 4.2.2 and Sense 5.
