Here is a noob question to some of you programming gurus. If I put an orverclocking kernel on my HP touchpad (because I recently discovered preware) will it create problem for CM9 Alpha 2?

I know there Kernel is the very important basis so do you think there will be a problem and do android and webos run on different kernels when they are dualbooting on my device?

Thanks very much for the help

    Alex!

No I overclocked mine through preware doesn't affect cm9 or cm7 which I had first.

    No. They are completely separate.

thank you very much I will definitely try it out. After I installed preware yesterday it seems webOS is much more useful and quicker than android. Not that I don't like android and all :)
