My wife is getting an iPhone for work (Can't use android device) and I was wondering if it's possible for us to do live Qik video chat using my EVO and her iPhone?

I don't think we can accurately answer this question without knowing exactly whats gonna be going on with the new iPhone on June 7th. With the current iPhone I know you will not be able to do this, but with a Skype application on both phones, I can't think of a single reason why you couldn't do this if all the rumors pan out with the new iPhone having a front facing camera.

I don't see why not if both phones have Qik apps installed. It would be awkward for her since the current iPhone doesn't have a front camera unless she waits for the new one.

    I would guess clueless management!

Yes I'm thinking of the new iPhone with the front facing camera.

    Thanks for all the replys.

my guess is that with the new iphone qik will release a video chat application... that is unless apple creates an ichat app and doesn't allow 3rd party developers to compete with their core applications... which would not be surprising.
