Huawei has been the talk of the mobile town lately, joining its tech rivals in not only producing outstanding Android smartphones but also sexy, cutting edge devices like the Huawei Watch. To continue producing the best of the best, Huawei is asking for help from 2 members of Android Forums who will be given access to an upcoming (and yet unannounced) Huawei device!

    What you'll win:
    • Invitation to the super secret Huawei FUT program (Friendly User Testing) that includes access to upcoming and unannounced Huawei device (including one right around the corner)!
    huawei-vip2.jpg

    How you can win:
    • Reply to this thread explaining why YOU would make the best beta tester for Huawei's upcoming products before March 29th at 11:59PM Eastern
    • Encourage other forum members, friends, family, etc... to mark your post as "Best Answer" in the bottom right of your submission (note: this is not the same as "Like")
    • The earlier you enter the more time you'll have to generate "Likes"
    • At 12:00AM on March 30th, the two people with the most Best Answer points will be selected as our winners!
    Two additional ways to win:
    Rules of the contest:
    • Must login to Android Forums after creating a free account
    • Must be US resident 18 years of age or older to enter
    • Entries accepted until March 29th at 11:59PM Eastern
    • Winner will be contacted shortly thereafter at the e-mail address they used to sign up for this website
    • If winner does not reply within 24 hours, they'll forfeit their prize and Android Forums staff will select another winner
    • Android Forums staff reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason at our sole discretion (Ex: don't be a jerk or try to cheat and game the system... it won't work out well for you)
    GOOD LUCK!

Best Answer will adjust as more and more people vote for you (or for someone else).

Not sure how awesome this will sound but I've been a longtime fan of many Android devices and have been following Phandroid for a very long time. I'm the go to guy for my friends/family regarding technology (especially with mobile devices) & I love to test out the latest tech. Even though this give away would most likely be under an NDA since it'll be for an unreleased device I would still love to be one chosen to test it out.

While I am hugely active here at AF, I'm not really a power user of Android devices. While most of mine are rooted, they are all Nexus or Developer Editions. I'm more a representative of the users of Android devices, not the modders or hackers, that while appreciated, are truly the minority of users. I'd be able to offer feedback from the perspective of an average user that may wind up at AF looking for help using the device rather than modding.

My wife and 7 year old son are both Android users and any device could also be put in their hands for feedback (ok, my son will grab whatever device I'm using when he kills his battery:p).

Where I live and work takes me through varied coverage from most carriers, primarily VZW (my current carrier), AT&T, and Sprint. I'm on the edge of 4G coverage for the latter, and cross some 3G areas (in fact it shows no coverage on VZW's map). This would provide feedback on connectity and handover between 3G and 4G.

Should the device not be a phone, I am currently looking into expanding my Android experience through both wearables and home automation. I am taken by the Huawei Watches recently announced as well. It is important for me that my watch look like a watch first as that (like the 360) does. I am currently organizing my plan for cutting cable and going with streaming devices and voip for home telephone. Cutting the cord is a prime time to try out a disruptive new home entertainment technology. I currently have a Chromecast, but am probably going to go with some form of TV stick (s) (RoKu, Amazon TV, unamed new device). Should the device be something else altogether, well, we will see what it is and go from there.:D

As far as my style, I'm able to differentiate between something I don't like and am not a fan of versus something that is broken or doesn't do what it is supposed to. Not all gimmicks are for everyone and I recognize that. I'll give honest feedback without a bias for or against the device or company.

Good luck to everyone. I've been using an unreleased Huawei device for the past few weeks and it's not bad at all. The battery life is very impressive, if not amazing. I don't believe my device is the same one you'll get a chance to win though, it's even better ;) Good luck!

    Android enthusiasts:

I have been riding the Android wave and preaching the gospel since the G1, before most sites likes this ever existed. I have been teased joked on and laughed at, for my unwavering love for all things Android. I have literally visited this site and many others like it for years, trying to get a glimpse of the new products being unveiled and the fellowship between fans like myself. I have debated shared ideas and hopes for the future of Android, I have watched companies on top fall and companies on the bottom rise and through it all, I have never won one single item, not a sticker, key chain, backpack, t-shirt, figurine, nothing so I would be honored and humbled to be in the company of those that have. I would love to be a tester, and be on the cutting edge of new products, to see how they work beyond the hype and to know what most Android and tech enthusiasts dream of. The new smart watch is truly a thing of beauty and I would love to take it through the paces, but the the Ascend p7 and upcoming p8 (hopefully) are also a beast.

I have been with android from the beginning and have had all sorts devices. I use it both at home and at work. I would love the opportunity to test out a new product and give my feedback on the device. I use the device for a wide range of task and I can give a comprehensive review of the product.

Hello! I've been following both Android and Phandroid since the debut of the T-Mobile G1. I actually wrote in about an issue with a UK update for Android Cupcake being used on the US G1 in a Phandroid article by Rob almost 6 years ago, lol (http://phandroid.com/2009/05/22/cupcake-safety-something-is-happening/ I was Craig). I check Phandroid practically every day for updates on the latest android news.
Currently, I own a Nexus 4. I dread the battery life on the device, but love almost everything else about it. I've been in the market for a new phone now and I'm struggling with my decision. I'd love to put my Nexus 4 to the side for a bit and try out Huawei's new device!

I have spent the last 1.5 years helping people unbrick their G2's and other LG devices on multiple forums and IRC by turning my own device into a sacrificial lamb. Now my own screen is falling out after it's already been replaced once by yours truly and my battery is starting to bulge out the case making me think it could be a safety hazard. I could seriously use something new to break. Also, my wife now says I love random Android users more than her. :D

I was really expecting a far larger turnout for this contest than the random giveaway one. My guess is its a lot easier to flood the giveaway with false positives, that or unlike spec2nivash people really dont like Huawei.
