Looking at an android based smart phone for my person cell. I use a crackberry for work (just got a new bold, used to have a perl)

Refuse to get an iphone.

I don't blame you about that. I wanted an iPhone for Verizon, but the more I found out about the situation, the more I realized I couldn't put myself under that kind of situation. Android is freedom. May I please configure my own homescreen, please? At the very least? Puleez.

Ordered the droid X today.

I still feel like a sucker for some reason.

It will be rooted in about 2 months with whatever kickass apps I like. Oh and I may even write a few.

This place has been great.

You can root it now. Although, you don't have access to the bootloader.
