I know this sounds like a travesty, however, I was wondering if it was at all possible to use windows mobile on the Droid Incredible. I saw something on the "what rom are you using poll" about windows mobile from 'steven58'?

I have a feeling that if you tried to put winMo on your Dinc, the pure awesomeness of the phone itself would cause Bill Gates' house to blow up... so please.. please try it at once!!!

I lust threw up in my mouth a little bit....

The Windows Mobile poll was a joke directed towards Steven58 because he sent his Incredible back for the DroidX and had to fall back to his WinMo device until the DroidX launch.

BTW, Welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your stay :)

Now THAT would be a travesty... IOS sucks IMHO. The only way that this would be a good thing is if we could get it to run faster on the DINC than on the iPhone 4. That'll shut 'em up. :)

Can someone let me know if I can have Android 2.1 with Sense UI on my Incredible?

Why would anyone intentionally install a virus on their phone or computer?

People throw this statement around a lot without actually knowing what it means.

But...but...spyware? Is that not a virus? Is this ad a virus? No? But it annoys me. Is a virus not anything that annoys me? Sort of like a real life virus like...uh...the cold. That is one of those bacterial viruses, right?

I thank you for your welcoming to the forums. As for the other responses, I wasn't sure of the nature of that poll... though I would find it interesting to install another os on my phone. I have used linux, windows, and mac. Though I do prefer windows for the pure versatility I do enjoy mac for my music and video editing. I use osx86 on a few computers and I have owned several macs. Each os has positives and negatives I see none as superior to the other. There are just purpose built differences. I didn't mean to sound like a noob or anything, just common curiosity. windows has more opportunities for a smoother interface, I migrated from a winmo 6.1 to blackberry storm to my Inc. I like how windows has the ability to look similar to a zune hd (the interface i would like to have). Don't get me wrong though, my favorite device of all time has to be this phone. I absolutely love it and wouldn't trade it for any other device so far.

A dual-boot would be sweet. Better yet, have a GRUB clone to boot to FroYo, WP7, webOS, and Maemo.

Ugg.. I can't imagine that i would really want to go to WinMo again after experiencing Android.

Ironically, i am really wishing there was an Android port for my "old" HTC Athena...
