Long story short - Note I is broken (no screen). I want to wipe it free of all personal data as someone wants to buy it for spares. How can I do this when i can't see or use the screen? Is it possible?

To clarify, I can plug it in to the USB cable and I can "see" it within Windows Explorer, so I just need to know what to delete to make it safe to send off.

As the screen doesn't work I wouldn't be able to interact with the menu.....unless I am missing something. Clever idea, though......

Have you got the phone linked to Samsungs tracking service?

If so you can wipe it from:
