Wireless doorbell app

Hello, I was just wondering is there any applications for android which detects certain frequencies? I have a wireless doorbell, which uses certain frequency and I would like to have an app on my phone which alerts when certain frequency is used in near area. In other words, when someone pushes my doorbell, my cellphone alerts too.

Unlikely. The device needs to have a particular antenna receiver to detect a specific frequency in the first place to detect it.

Most of my searches include expensive camera operated doorbells. We have a very simple wireless operated doorbell. The receiver is in the office, but if we're in the garden, kitchen, shower or toilet, we can't hear it. My Android is on me 24/24. My Android can pick-up radio, TV, Bluetooth, internet, oh yes, and even telephone signals. If it works with Bluetooth, why can't I tune it into the doorbell frequency?

1) What Android phone do you have that includes a TV tuner?

2) Unless your "simple wireless operated doorbell" was advertised as including Bluetooth capability, it doesn't - and you won't be able to use it with your phone in any way/shape/form/fashion. Most wireless doorbells seem to operate in the 300-400MHz range, while Bluetooth uses a relatively tiny (~80MHz, IIRC) chunk of the 2.4GHz spectrum. And even if the frequencies were the same the protocols are completely different. The technologies are simply incompatible.

A fake Samsung Galaxy of course.

It's not an S-pen or stylus, it's a telescopic antenna. :D

....there's a knock-off iPhone 5 that has a TV tuner as well.

I've actually seen one of these in person Mike, so I know they exist, it's a Korean S2 that comes with an antenna for watching TV. Too bad the TDT made it obsolete!!! Lol.
