I searched forums for "wireless keyboard" and got no hits. So I figure I'm on safe ground.

I am a Motorla Q9 user looking to upgrade to the T-mobil Samsung Vibrant. Is there some way to use a somewhat standard keyboard with this phone? better yet a dock with display?
    thanks

In regards to the dock sure if you can find one. In regards to the keyboard you could just switch it back to stock if you don't like swype.

Is there a way to use an external keyboard, or better yet, a dock for a Samsung Vibrant?

    thanks

Yes bluetooth keyboards are as effective as laptop keyboards. They can range range in size to full out keyboards and down to mini keyboards.

I have recently purchased a Dell Streak and have just tried a bluetooth keyboard that seems to work fine with it, I don't know if it would work with other phones/tablets, but I would think it should. It is an older Palm Bluetooth Keyboard, model 3245WW.
