Wireless N question and random question

I know the phone has the hardware for wireless N and there was speculation it would be implemented or improved in Froyo. What is the status of it in Froyo/eclair?

Also, with Fring can you video chat with people? The lack of a front facing camera not withstanding. If not is there some other app that would allow this.

wireless N has been enabled in froyo already. just need to now wait for the actual update.
