Anyone try the wireless tether app after rooting? I must admit, I love my Skyraider ROM'd DInc, but damn that phone is sexy! 2.2 is nice, but if I'm tethered, I could wait.

I have it installed after rooting, but won't work until we get a custom kernal, at least that is what the program was telling me last night. I haven't looked into it this morning. I will post more info if I find it later today.

That customer kernel bit is odd. Seem that it doesn't need that to work fine on the Droid X. I know the Galaxy S is way different hardware, though, and I'm still very much a newb at this.

Apparently the factory kernal doesn't have Netfilter that wireless tether recognizes.

I have Wireless Tether working. I restored from my Incredible's backup (with Titanium Backup) of it and it worked flawlessly. Not a single error.

So, if you guys can get passed that error, it should work.
