Root Wireless Tether

I downloaded the wireless tether and i clicked setting and i have a few questions in regards to that

1. Wifi Encryption what is it is that to be able to set a password for the wifi? if so how do you do it?

2. what is ssid? is it to change the name of your wifi network?

3 Change chanell? whats that?

4. Transmit power? not sure what that is either?

5. Use Bluetooh pan tether insted of wifi not understand what is that?

if you could answer theese questions i'd appreciate it thanks

4.how far the signal is pushed, lower it to save battery

5. Set up a Bluetooth network for PC/ laptops with Bluetooth but no wifi

1. WEP usually works the password must be 8 character no more no less for some reason (Barnacle wifi)
2. Yes the name that is shown when you scan for networks
3. If to many people use the same channel you well have interruptions or problems.
4. Sounds like some dbz thing >.>
5. Send data though Bluetooth instead of wifi

I use easy tether since my PS3 can't see ad hoc networks and it works nice :)
