Hi, I have tried various web browsers for android to try to view online streaming video which is WMV, but nothing seems to work. Is there an android application, or plugin for the browser which will enable me to view it? Thanks!

I have Asus Eee Pad Transformer.

    Cheers!

Hi, I think I described it a little bit wrong...

The problem is that I have a .wmv going on the page and I can't see it in my browser on my tablet. It says there is no plugin. Can I do something with that?

    Thanks!

Try using firefox for android. (It's about 15 megs, so I suggest wi-fi). Firefox was working on a plugin for streaming media. I'm not sure what formats it'll be for.

I'm using/comparing 4 different browsers atm, so if you give me the web address I can check for you and let you know if any thing I have works.

The 4 I'm using are: stock browser, opera mini + mobile ( even though they seem to be different, and each had it's item strong points and weaknesses, I count them as one), firefox and skyfire.

Hey dude. I tried all the browsers I have to no avail. :-( Maybe someone else has any ideas.

What I can suggest is trying skyfire . You get a free trial for video. I never got round to using it though, so again I'm unsure of the formats, and my free trial has expired. I'm not sure of that'll solve the problem, but it's worth trying I suppose.

Exactly the same result with Skyfire and default browser. It doesn't work.

    Thank you for trying anyway!
