I was using my X last night at 10pm, plugged it in for the night and I woke up in the morning to a dead phone. It would not turn on. I tried 3 different chargers and a battery pull, none of which helped. I took it to a store and they tried changing the battery to get it to work but nothing, did not turn on. They said another phone is going to be shipped with second day delivery. The Verizon manager said they hold phones just for something like this so I will not have to wait. I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem. I thought it might have been due to an update. Maybe I was a test dummy for 2.2 without knowing it. Has anyone else had this problem?
Oh the one part I am disappointed about with all of this is that Verizon is not going to pay for or give me a replacement screen cover. I originally purchased a 3rd party screen cover which is probably going to be ruined when I pull it off of my dead X.
