Wonder why Angry Birds isn't working?

Second beta came out yesterday. Installed no problem, but just get the black screen that goes back to home. All you who have it installed and functioning....which ROM are you running??

I'm on Kaos Froyo v34 and it works fine. Haven't tried the second beta yet, where did you get it?

I'm on Kaos Froyo v30. I got an email saying they released the second beta, with a link to where to download it. The version number on the apk is 1.3.5

I'm not rooted and it works great. Initially installed it from another post that was on here. Worked great, then got the email link from whoever makes the game and installed just fine and still works for me.

I found it in the market and downloaded it on my wildfire, but can't play it. Probably the resolution.

Didn't work for me on KaosFroyo v34. But I'm on xtrROM 4.5 now, and works great. Physics games are always fun.

Didn't work on xtrSENSE 4.2.1, will try it on another ROM. It installed, but won't run.

Interesting. I've been really busy this week and haven't had a chance to load up a new ROM. I'll try xtrROM 4.5 and see what happens. If unrooted people are running it no problem though, I'm not sure its going to make a difference, doesn't seem like there's a pattern to who can get it to work and who can't.

I've only played it for about 20 minutes or so, but I've not had it freeze on me.
Rooted and running Nonsensikal, don't know if that would make a difference or not.

Does anyone playing the new full version on the Eris find the birds hit the targets slow? On my Incredible the game flies, but I installed it on my wife's Eris through getjar (couldn't find it on the Market on her phone), and it works fine, but slow.

To me it looks like the same speed as before. I expect you're seeing a difference in processor power in the two phones.

Word. Problem is she never had the Lite version on her Eris, so it's hard to say whether it's the CPU or something else on her phone slowing it down.

Running KaosFroyo v38. Can't get either angry birds app to install from the Market. Will try the APK files tomorrow after getting some sleep.

Thinking I'm gonna switch ROMs though. KaosFroyo is hella slow, even freshly installed with nothing on the phone. Any ROM suggestions? Preferably confirmed to work with Angry Birds.

My wife will HAVE to have that on this Eris. (I'm setting it up for her.)

I run AB on my Eris with the xtrSense rom, works perfectly. I also use adfree which is free in the market which gets rid of all the annoying ads on AB. also, I make sure when playing the game to set my screen to not time out as having to wake up the phone will mess up the game.

I'm using nonsensikal v15.2 and AB was running a bit laggy until I turned off the sound in the game. It's not as smooth as iOS but its fine.

How do you like that ROM? I'm putting it on now to test it out. I tried two other Froyo roms and angry birds is still unplayable, both iterations of it, even though the rest of the phone performs very well with Froyo installed.
