wont 3g connect to microcell

[Android Question]

Phone, (Samsung galaxy s2) won't get any data connection at all to the microcell. Hence, cannot send/receive text messages, though wifi works fine. Voice calls work fine.

I am 15 feet from the microcell max, and the green 3g network light on the microcell is on steady.

Another phone, galaxy nexus s, gets only an "H" data connection, not 3g.

Anyone have any ideas?

Text is 2G (same as voice), so you're diagnosing it wrong. Call the carrier.
