Won't boot with power connected

Is this normal? If I try to boot my Warp with the power/USB cable connected, it gets stuck on the big green Android guy. It's been like that since the day I got it last December.

sometimes i have to hold down the power button till it gets passed that part or it goes to the chargeing screen but it never frezezs there it does take a wile to boot tho

I need to hold it down for a few secs till I feel the unit vibrate then where good to go,its just the way it is.

That seemed to work. I held it until the Green Man went away and the boot animation appeared. Still seems kind of weird ... when not plugged in, I just just have to hold it until the little vibration aenoch mentioned - no more than a few seconds. This was much longer.

i changed my boot anamation mite of had an effect i dont hold down the button till it vibrates i let go after like 5 secs then it vibrates after i let go im using stargate as my anamation
