wont dl apps

Hey guys i have htc 4g evo everything was perfect until i startd to mess around with the phone I had already dl ebay app and was working great until i went to menu scene and was playing with diff scenes and didnt save anything then when i went back to my original ebay was gone? trying to dl again and it wont? also how o i clean out cache? thanks
