Why does it have to be an HTC?
If you are looking at sensation you should consider samsung gs2 as they have the same price (at least here)

Yes. Is there a reason for HTC? Exynos chipset eats Qualcomm for breakfast any day.

Why does it have to be HTC?

Otherwise, if you want 3D get the Evo 3D, if not get the Sensation.

Depends what service you have. If AT&T like me, go HTC Inspire. You will not be dissapointed.

If tmobile, don't go tmobile as they could still be bought out.

I have the HTC Thunderbolt and think it is the best mobile phone I ever had. It is fast and I have never had a problem.

I am betting he lives in Europe, since both the Sensation, and Evo 3D are available in Europe. I probably wouldn't recommend the Inspire either, it seems a little silly to get a single core device these days, since both the Sensation, and Evo 3D out perform it by far. (And they also have quite a few things the Inspire was missing.) It would be a good suggestion if he was looking for a low budget device, but with what was listed I doubt that matters.

OP: Like someone said above if you like 3D go for the Evo 3D. If you find it useless then buy the Sensation. They are basically the same device except for a few different features.

I found the Evo3D was pure crap. The 3D barely worked unless you were holding the phone PERFECTLY. The phone was also not built very well.

no way to the inspire. the reason why some people would want htc is for the typical htc style and sense. it definitely has its share of loyal consumers

I'm also curious why the Evo 3D doesn't seem well built. Or how the 3D effect is difficult to use. Although, it's very entertaining to listen to people's reaction to glasses free 3D. Especially iPhone users. Completely blows their mind that a phone can do it :p

The build quality of the EVO didn't impress me, plus the 3D is a gimmick. It really doesn't make the phone better in any way, just more fun. It's up to all of you, I'm just saying I don't like it.
