WordFeud Push Notification - Not Working?

I have the Samsung Vibrant (Galaxy S), on T-Mobile. I just downloaded the 1.0.4 version for Wordfeud on 8/25. Originally, a week or so ago, i was receiving the Push Notifications. Now it is NOT sending a notification, on either v1.0.3 or v1.0.4. And yes, the Push Notification is check marked.

I have 2 friends that have the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S model and are getting their notification when i play a word against them. One has v1.0.3 and the other v1.0.4.

Does anybody else see this issue on this app? Think it may be a T-Mobile thing not so much a Vibrant issue?
 
Not resolved but a band-aid for now.

Spoke with a T-Mobile Tech Support person today (8/26). Seems to be something happening while i'm on 3G. I switch to 2g (Edge) and my notifications are now coming in on both gmail and Wordfeud.
So now a trouble ticket has been made to figure out what the exact problem is on the 3G setting.
 
Mine works fine (Desire on Virgin), sometimes takes up to ten minutes to come through, but no more. Have had about twenty today with no phone reboot.

Hi,

Could you go into the settings screen and deactivate notifications, go back to the game list and wait a few seconds, then re-enable notifications from the settings screen. This procedure should re-register your phone with Google's C2DM service, which Wordfeud uses for notifications.

Another thing worth checking is if your phone is set up to allow background data. Go into your phone's settings (not Wordfeud's), open "Accounts & sync", and check that "Background data" is enabled.

i just downloaded the latest update that said to fix notifications, but I dont dont get any

however I just read this so im about to go try your suggestions (i already have background data enabled though)
