Help Words with friends make your phone slow?

Does words with friends make anyone's phone run slower? I love the app and would hate to have to delete it.. I just wanna know if theres anything i can do to not make my phone lag..

WWF is notoriously resource heavy. Shy of rooting your phone, there really isn't much to be done. WWF is one of several games that run on the OV, but not well (in the stock configuration).

Personally, I couldn't play a game like that. While I posses an extensive vocabulary and no fear of inflicting it upon those around me, my spelling is atrocious and I'm completely helpless without spell check.

Yeah I have my phone rooted and I'm starting to think my words with friends app has been skewingmy phone

the official Scrabble app has a word checker you can use to check your spelling. it's also handy to check those words yr not quite sure really ARE words. sometimes ya get lucky.

it's also a resource hog, btw, but not unplayable.

Probably the biggest issue here is that all your friends use Words with Friends, and it would be difficult to convince them to go to a different app.

I personally like the idea of playing a multi-player game with other people. There are very few on Android and probably even fewer that would work with our phone. However, WWF force closes and hangs a ridiculous amount. A few months ago it used to be quite smooth and not have these same problems. I guess it happens.

I have the app, you just have to let it load, it will lag BUT ONLY IF YOU CLICK AND TOUCH EVERYTHING WHILE ITS LOADING, just let it take its course even if it means you waiting an extra 10 seconds, i have no problem when i let it do its thing. When i dont i notice a slight lag!
