Working the 19th century week

I worked many decades of 12 hour days seven days a week. The last decade or so I only worked 3 hours on Sundays and had every other Saturday off. Self employment is greed driven with no overtime or benefits. 
Now I work four to five hours a day four days a week. That's retirement hours.

Being on your own time and schedule has its perks. Being idle is a drag. Work is a great escape.
been working retail for 15 years and i have always have had to work on the weekends. it was rare that i would get both days off and most of the time it would be working both days.........completely sucked.
i now work where i get my weekends off and OMG do i love the weekend now!!!!!!!

What is going to be horrible is that these youngsters may have to work all their lives with out having the option of Retirement.
come on Bobby, half of them don't want to work already, like i told my son when he was younger.......... drug dealer and Gangbangers don't have 401K' plans
