Root Working Wireless tether for root

Here a quick guide on how to get Wireless tether for root to work on the boost Evo Design 4g

1: you have to be rooted
2: download the apk from HERE
3: install apk
4: open prog go to settings and set device profile to generic ICS , then check MSS clamping and routing fix
5: start tether and voila it is working

i tested speeds with speedtest.net and i get 1.5Mbit down and 0.5 Mbit up
sadly i have no 4g in my area so when i got time i will make a run to the airport and try it there

xFuziionzz4.3.2 rom and fastkernel ics v4 2fast4u88 on htc evo design 4g with sprint. any suggestions?? I can not get wifi to work always get error67.

if it says your not rooted, try reinstalling the su binary through recovery. Are you getting a not rooted error with titanium backup?

Change device profile is the very first option in the apps' settings

TiT backup shows root access : checkmark busybox 1.18....
Just ran full back up no issue.

Let me know if this works or not. I can upload my wife tether for root users to db and send you a link if not. I've been using it for two years with these settings. Works great.

It's not the same app but I'm sure it will work for any version or rom
