Is there an APP out there that I can open, type in a city, and have it tell me what the current time is there? Not a widget...and not how many hours difference it is from my current location...hit their current time...

Generally app of such nature require data. In this case unless timeanddate.com provide some API for app developer to get the data else the database of all cities and countries time/date need to be built up somehow.

I believe the problem is getting the correct data from some official source and also if the official source allow other app developer to access their data.

Well thanks for the ideas and info...guess I'll do the book mark route. I just hate having to scroll to to the browser, then open it and find my bookmarks, then wait for that to load, etc...

You can put the bookmark right on your desktop - one click and you are there.
First, bookmark it in the browser, then go to Desktop, long press, add a Shortcut->BookMark and select the bookmark for timeanddate.com.
