Worth getting one now ?

Thinking about getting one of these for the UK. Is it still any good , or should I be waiting for quad core versions in "Q2" / Summer

I'm thinking about getting this too. With the new ones coming out, I hope the price drops on the original galaxy tab 10.1

It's still very competitive... even Samsung says so:

It sounds like the new ones are just a cost-reduced version with ICS and a microSD slot. You can get the equivalent of the microSD with the current model by using the USB adapter and a thumb drive.

I got mine about two weeks ago after some similar mulling and I can say without a doubt it was worth the purchase. If you are really going to push the limits of this tablet with your usage then perhaps quad core is worth the wait but if not buy this and don't look back. I am only upset I wasted about a month before i just went and bought it. Also, my brother and dad have the new Ipad (3?) and i still prefer my samsung, if not mostly I prefer android to apple's os.
