So I don't have much experience rooting but I would like to root my phone it is a Galaxy S7 active running Android 8.0 I have tried multiple one-click Rooters but they have not helped me I'm pretty new to this and I don't know what to do and I and I figured it would be better to ask other people who might know what they're doing so that I don't accidentally brick my phone I want to root my phone so that I can so I can have more control over my device and remove the unneeded bloatware I also want to be able to use applications like game Guardian without having to use a virtual space as they don't seem to function for me if you could help me I would be very appreciative thank you in advance. Btw i am fully willing to use my desktop.

I'm not a palm reader, but I see a lot of reading in your future, brother..

That's my suggestion..absorb as much as you can..watch a lot of YouTube, invest your time learning all you can before even trying it..so you will understand what's the real purpose of root..

FYI so called "one-click" app only security exploit rooting tools WILL NOT work on a Galaxy S7 Active with 8.0 Oreo. More than likely you'll need to use a computer based rooting method, if one is available for your particular S7 Active variant.
