So, while the subject line kind of sums it up, I'd love to have an audible alert when the lock button is pressed (i.e. just like iPhone).

Is there anyway to have that on the Evo? Any pointers would be GREAT.

    Thanks, guys!

I must admit, I find it amusing everyone agreeing to my post-- glad to know I'm not the only one out there wanting this.

Now, if we can just get someone to do it FOR us! Come on.. there's got to be some programmer out there that can do this for us.

I would throw my evo out the window if it made a sound when I locked it. All you iphone-exs drive me crazy.

No just kidding I'd like it too :p

it was cool for a while but I think I'm over it. However, if it was to appear in a future update I'd enable it but I don't exactly miss it.

Well looks like you finally got your lock sound and I have to admit (as a previous iPhone user) it does make me comfortable hearing the sound in some strange, twisted way.

Menu > Settings > Sound: Tick "Screen Lock Sounds" and "Audible Selection"!!!

    Neato!

Ha! Yeah I had a sound I used to replace the default sound on my 3gs, it was sweet. I still have it, but no idea how to swap them.
