I've heard of people trying to get extended batteries, but these things are bulky and expensive. Amazon shows the Mugen 2400 mAh battery for the G1 at $67 and it's big.

Has anybody heard or tried using the Just Mobile Gum Power Packs?

    For $45 you get 2200mAh
    For $62 you get 4400mAh

Bascially it's a small black box the size of a pack of gum. You connect it to your gadget of choice using a USB cable. Would this work with the G1? Thought this might be of help to the Android users out there.
