OK. So I went to the store today near my house, not the one near work where I bought, and they did not have security anchors on the phones so I could actually see where the LED is.
And you know what the problem is???
The double cover case covers up the LED!!! ::facepalm:: Design fail!
Taking the case off solves this problem... Returning the case tomorrow and just ordered the Commuter Otterbox, which I verified in pics does not cover up the LED.
BTW, thanks ScaryAlien for the app nod. All colors seem to work!
