Thats pretty darn cool, I watched the last episode of Lost and it worked very well.
SprintTV is definitely one of the most overlooked apps out there. Theres no competitor to it.
It's great. You might also look into the app by CBS called tv.com
... too bad the last episode of "Lost" didn't
When I first tried Sprint TV on my older phone, it was slow buggy and hardly usable. But on the EVO, damn. So nice. Of course if its not at least 50% battery its starts to drain it and then the images get more jittery for some reason, but if plugged in, watch out, smooth sailing.
I tried watching the world cup on espn mobile today, and the damn thing didnt even take up the entire screen. Also, you cant multi-task while using it! If you want to do anything else, the stream stops. Useless in my mind.
that is odd.. why would the battery affect the play back in that way??? that is very very odd to me
Yes there is a competitor and it's called Slingbox for Android. It will be available "soon" and once you buy the equipment to transfer your live or recorded TV to your phone, there is no fee.
I had it on my HTC Touch Diamond and really miss it. Hopefully, Android will be supported by the end of the month.
