I think this would be more effective if you slam your fist down on something and yell "DO YOU KNOW WHO THE F I AM????"

I am not having any problems. Maybe try doing a factory reset that has helped many folks. I can tell you typing is way more responsive.

Umm if you are going to start a thread so dramatically can you at least provide more info i.e. are you talking about the stock browser? what sites or is it all sites? what settings are you running? Have you cleared out the cache, cookies, etc since upgrading? Which update did you apply? The manual or the OTA?

Try a profile update as someone above suggested. Also maybe a hard reset. I do one after every update and just restore all my apps (only pain is redoing my scenes but I deal with it) and my phone always seems to run perfectly. Having zero issues with the browser.

This is not the case for most - reboot, or at least power down and do a battery pull. Everything you mentioned is better than before for me.

i decided to see if this was true and, while there is no proof that this is correct by viewing the op's previous posts, it is clear that he is one fickle bastard! he loves this phone, hates it, love, hate, blahblahblah...

    Worked for me.

Go to browser, settings, plug-ins and change to on demand. This will allow you to choose which flash plug-ins you would like to view. This worked for me and made my browser much faster.

Lots of threads on how to fix the issue you've described. IXIShogunR1 is right... reset to get back to the squishy goodness this is Froyo.

I'm going to try this one time.

    Steps to fix your issues:
    1. READ (at least look at the first page of general and "all things root")-most of this has been covered.
    2. Spend less time starting new threads to bitch, and more time trying the suggestions offered.
    3. If you can't handle #2, please, please, PLEASE at least describe your issues better.
    4. Do a hard reset.

That should get you well on the way to enjoying your evo.

I HAVE reset my phone I HAVE my settings set as on demandi t is still horrible. I thought Froyo was going to improve performance not make it worse......dumb.

Reset does not equal Battery Pull. Do you even have your 4-digit MSL #?

I had to do a factory reset also. Fixed all my issues :)

Mine is great too.....I just need to learn as to why my emails are being deleted off my exchange server after i read them on my phone..

Mine is also great, but I DID have the "lag" issue I keep seeing on the threads. HOWEVER ... that went away with time. I got the update last night, and when I woke up this morning, the lag issues were GONE. No reset. Just time lapsed by.

So, I would highly suggest PATIENCE as another option. Give it half a day and see if the issues go away on their own. :)
