When clicking a highlighted date in an email, to create a new event in the calendar, it always comes up with the wrong date in the event.
Eg. date in email Nov 26 2011, date in new event 11/02/2013 !!!
Is this a date format issue, and does anyone know of a fix for this?
    Cheers

I would say its definitely a date formatting issue as both dates start with 11.
Date 1 is in US format (mm/dd/yyyy), whereas date 2 has attempted to convert to UK format (dd/mm/yyyy) and has failed.

Check the date format on the phone (Settings, Date and Time).
Not sure where you can check with regards to your email, but look if there are any email settings relating to date format.

Just experimented with sending dates, and it is the date format causing the problem.
Dates sent in UK format work ok, but US format get confused.
You would think they could code for this, especially when someone spells out the month, not numerically.
I will have to tell my wife to stop putting dates in emails in US format, don't know why she does this, she's not even American!!
