AntennaSearch - Search for Cell Towers, Cell Reception, Hidden Antennas and more.

Type in your address, process your request, then click "View Antenna Results" Click the blue antennas on the map and the ones labeled "Clearwire Spectrum Holdings, lii, Llc" are the ones blasting out the 4G signal.
I live two miles within four Clearwire antennas, nuts!!! Zip code 78729.
Cant wait to get my EVO in a couple weeks!

what's crazy is that it shows two clearwire 4g towers in my area but
i know these are used for a third party internet company that uses wimax to provide people with service. I don't think I will be getting 4g anytime soon on my phone

Now I can see why I have an excellent 4G signal in my area!

The site appears to be missing a lot of towers, I looked up my home address and only got one cell tower in the 3 mile radius which was owned by ATT which doesn't even provide service here! We have the three other major carriers though and I am not in no mans land.

I can see that this map isnt 100% accurate and is missing some towers because there is one I see a block away every morning on my way to work that is not listed and has been there for a long time.

On a good note, I did see one Clear tower about 4 blocks away from me and another about a a mile away from me. I didnt do check to much but the one tower a few blocks away is more than enough for me at the moment.

I've been seeing reports of people picking up spotty 4g service on their overdrives here in NY so that means some of the towers are online (maybe for testing purposes) so I hope to pick up a Evo sometime this week and see what I can pick up.

Maybe ones ya'll aren't seeing are listed as towers. When you view antenna results, towers do now show up and vice versa, when you view tower results, antennas don't show up.

Keep in mind, towers that are allocated to Clearwire do not necessarily mean it's Sprint/Clear 4G service.

Clearwire also sells and operates its own wireless service, independent of sprint.

Arlington, VA here. One clearwire tower about .6 miles from my house. I can light up 4G from my couch, but I don't get any bars. Speedtest app says 2.8 MBit down. Not too bad for "no bars" of 4G coverage in a market that isn't officially live yet.

  19. Strange. There's a mess of antennas in my area and I found two that were labelled "Clearwire..." (probably about 30 that I didn't check) and I've not been able to get 4G at all on my Evo.

I hope you're right and they just haven't been turned on yet.

I have over 12 clearwire antennas anywhere from 1 mile to 4 miles from my house. How close do they need to be?
