Was just about to post this. How easy is it to install? Sorry, newb here.

I tried to run the android sdk on my computer but had issues.

Is this root any different from the toast method other than being one click/newb friendly? Does it achieve full root (write to /system while in android)??

Correct the root doesnt stick it needs to be done every reboot but at this moment that is being worked out. and the reason I know it works with both updated and non updated evos is that I am with the unrevoked guys right now. Also I will be posting again very shortly as it should be a sticky root in the next 30 minutes. I will let you know.

It hasn't been sufficiently tested, I would test but I have the Incredible.

Also ROOT now doesn't get removed when you reboot

question, and sorry if it's a noob question, but if the UNREVOKED application is terminated from the processes, will it "unroot" the phone?

Will try again with the sticky...

For now I am told that the directions will not say you must reroot if you reboot. Also wifi tether works with the apk install.

new directions no longer say that you need to reboot. How can we confirm it's been rooted after reboot then?

Can we apply this along with toast's root method? Will it fix his broken wifi tether? If not... would backing up with recovery enable me to restore on top of a stock rom and retain that stock ROM?
