Supposedly there is an X10 being released with tmobile 3G bands. It went through/passed by the FCC about a month ago. Doesn't mean it is going to be sold in the USA though. There was early mention of the phone being released at some point on a South American carrier (forgot the name) which uses the same bands for it's smallish network in Brazil. If that is the case then you could likely import the phone unlocked at some point and use it on t-mobile.

As for the FCC thing.. Any phone made in with quad band GSM such as phones released in the UK exclusively are tested by the FCC because people travel to the USA and the phone needs to pass to get an OK to use here.
