Hi All, I've googled it and not found any reference so thought I'd post. I'm on Vodafone UK and used the software update search which was successful. My baseband (no idea what that is) has changed from 1.0.14 to 1.1.28. I didn't make a note of the build number but it's R2BA024 at the moment. Firmware is still 1.6 which I assume is old Android (not very techy I'm afraid) from what I've read. Apart from losing/re-installing SWYPE I haven't noticed any real difference excepting that I now have a back up/restore "button" when I slide up from the bottom to see all app's etc, which I didn't have before. I can only assume that Vodafone have done this as a pre-firmware update to ensure that when they release it users will be prompted to create a back-up first (again I'm not too techy but makes sense I guess otherwise they'll get loads of calls from users with bricked handsets). Hope it helps.
