I use my Xoom so much I have caught myself wanting bigger pockets LoL!
I have also caught myself trying to use it in my SUV!!!
(10.1" Screen is just easier to see for me)
I'm ready for some sort of car mount. (Not the windshield)

This is what I have. Works great, get it with the Ram Pod 1 mount:

Cradle Holder - Tough Tray II Universal Netbook, iPad & Tablet Mount - RAM Mount

    Cool,
Can you start a thread in Xoom Accessories, take some photos of everything setup in your vehicle, sturdiness?, can you tilt up the cradle part?, details etc??
I would like to see it installed etc.

I don't wanna topic hijack the rumpshaker thread :p

Thr cradle is attached with a ball joint that provides maximum movement. The right side is spring load and slides to accept the unit. I have two holders on the bottom and one on each side so the Xoom can be positioned without falling out. The pod is basicalli a solid 1/2" aluminum tube covered with a black plastic tube very similar to a cord organizer. It attaches to one of the seat mount bolts. The tube is meant to be bent for a custom fit and then remain stiff. I wil take some pictures tomorrow and post then.

See the links above. You may be able to find it cheaper at maybe GPS warehouse. I think I paid about $70 for everything.

Why did you use the straps? Is the xoom when combined with the stand over 4 lbs? Or were you unable to get to the bolt? That stand is supposed to remain steady on all but the bumpiest roads/speed bumps with a 4lb load.

Yep, had a Fujitsu T5010 on it. Needless to say the Xoom is a lot lighter and the stand would be fine without the additional brackets.
