Xoom Files that won't delete

Hi All.
If you ever get a file on your Xoom that will not delete
ie. an error message "Unable to delete one or more files", then my advice would be to leave it well alone!
I downloaded a music creation app that I no longer wanted to keep but the files remained on my Xoom. (Google it and you'll perhaps see which one I am talking of).
I seeked multiple advice, one of which suggested to rebuid the mediastore database. Unless you have no choice, then DON'T do this and DO NOT go near the actual application in the 'manage apps' tab.
Just live with these ghost files.
I ended up losing my whole Photo Gallery and Music Library. I then had to do a factory re-boot. Thankfully, hours later, all of my purchased apps re-installed and I had got my photos backed up to micro-sd.

Just wanted to mention that I recently discovered a solution I found to this problem of not being able to delete files from my US version Wifi Xoom (not-rooted) and the 32GB SD card I used in it. A friend who works as an IT specialist for some part of the U.S. Department of Defense mentioned to me that all of the android devices he works with use the SanDisk Memory Zone application to get rid of stubborn files that is free in the Google Play market. So far, it has worked on every non-system essential file I have tried.

Just thought i'd mention an easy solution to this problem.

Here's the link to download the app.
