Hi All.
If you ever get a file on your Xoom that will not delete
ie. an error message "Unable to delete one or more files", then my advice would be to leave it well alone!
I downloaded a music creation app that I no longer wanted to keep but the files remained on my Xoom. (Google it and you'll perhaps see which one I am talking of).
I seeked multiple advice, one of which suggested to rebuid the mediastore database. Unless you have no choice, then DON'T do this and DO NOT go near the actual application in the 'manage apps' tab.
Just live with these ghost files.
I ended up losing my whole Photo Gallery and Music Library. I then had to do a factory re-boot. Thankfully, hours later, all of my purchased apps re-installed and I had got my photos backed up to micro-sd.
