Wondering if anyone can help. Since i upgraded to 2.3 I've been having battery issues that i didn't have with 2.1. The battery seems to be draining much much faster and im not sure why. What should i be turning off and how in 2.3 to give me more battery life. When i check what is using the battery it says
Display 54% Cell Standby 19% phone idle 10% andriod os 2% voice calls 14%
Any help on giving me better battery life is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks :)

The 2.3.3 upgrade should actually be a great improvement on your battery. May I suggest you reinstall 2.3.3 to see if there is still a problem? Make sure you backup everything and repair the phone using SEUS or PC Companion.

Also, you could always use the pre-rooted version by Wolfbreak that is available here, it has been optimized for better performance and battery life:

    WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.8.0 | 55fps, ARC Features, no Audio lag | 11/8/2011 - xda-developers

I don't know about your knowledge about flashing ROMs and basebands, using xRecovery and the flashtool though, you might have some reading to do first!

Ive reinstalled/reflashed 2.3.3 so i'll let ya know how the battery does ..
I've now got another question lol..
When im trying to connect to my home wi fi it scans... momentarily connects then right away disconnects and continues in this cycle until i turn off wi fi.
Any ideas on what the problem there is?
I've already checked i've entered my key correctly.
Off to work shortly so i shall see how the battery does.
    Thanks for any help..

I don't know, but does it do that when you're far from the router? I have this issue when I only have 1 bar, I keep losing it, but it's working when I'm closer to the router.

And this might be why the battery is draining fast, if it keeps searching for the network it will considerably reduce the battery life.

My battery life has greatly improved from the update plus i can keep my signal at 3g/H constantly which would have drained the battery before but doesnt now.
