I have been trying to send one of my contacts to a friend - for the life of me I cant seem to be able to do it - maybe you just cant?? On my old sony you could "Send Contact" it seems bonkers that this cant be done, the amount of times I get asked for a phone number and it is so easy to just send it via text

All I can seem to do is send a business card by Bluetooth. Weird.

    I think i have a solution.
When you write a message you write the name in contact search box and the phone number appears in the box, you then long press the box and you will get the option to copy the contact. Then you go to the compose message box, long press it and then paste and thats it!

I had same headeache for a while, but pretty straightforward as follows:-

Using the 'Handcent' messaging app ...

    - select the friend you are sending the contact to so that the box appears

    - click the '+' sign on the left, and from the menu that appears click 'Contact'

    - search for the contact and click the tick box on the left

    - should now appear in the messaging box (in full), so you can then add/edit as you wish

    Hope that helps
