tip: look into SYSTEMLESS XPOSED for this.

The modules i use to make Pokemon Go work under spoofed GPS, and to enable an onscreen joystick to move the player around are as followed.

"XposedPokemon" - needed to control the player within the app. (required)
"RootCloak" - needed to hide root from the app. (required)
"Hide Mock Location" - needed to spoof GPS data to the app. (optional) - enable mock location under developer options.

    1) Uninstall Pokemon Go
    2) Have Xposed Framework installed and enabled.
    3) Use Xposed Installer to search for, install, and enable the above listed modules.
    4) You can enable these modules and configure them before rebooting by hitting the checkmark and choosing not to reboot.
    5) After rebooting, install Pokemon go - but do not run/open it.
    6) Open Rootcloak and add Pokemon Go to the blacklist.
7)Open Hide Mock Location and add Pokemon Go to the blacklist.
    8) Open Xposed Pokemon to start the on screen joystick. (leave this app running by returning to the homescreen.
    9) Open Pokemon Go, and login.
    10) use the onscreen Joystick to navigate the Pokemon Go world.

Enjoy Pokemon Go from the comfort of your chair.
