Hi all, I have the Moto XT701 from China, thanks to being relocated to China for a few months. Now, I am back in the US and instead of going back to my crappy G1, I'd prefer to keep using the XT701.
Unfortunately, I am a "newb" at cell phones and can only do simple things like Factory Reset, etc. Having called Motorola AND T-Mobile, I've been able to set up the APN and can now access data - yay! (but not 3G as someone else has mentioned - something to do with 850 band?)
So right now, I need to know if there is any way I can get rid of all the Chinese apps and access the US Android Market? Do I need to re-install the Android OS? If so, how do I do this?
