I have recently moved to a Samsung S7 edge.
I have yahoo and gmail email accounts and until last week I was able to use both successfully. Now every time I open up Yahoo, I see the emails briefly then they disappear and appear in my Gmail inbox.
Yahoo is my main email account that I have used for 17 years and I have no wish to abandon it and switch to Gmail.
I have looked at all the setting I can find and can see nothing that looks like it will affect this behaviour. Can anyone help?

    Cheers
    Ernie

Are you using the Yahoo email app, or website to login with?

At first I was using the Gmail app with my Yahoo account added, then I tried installing the Yahoo app and using them separately, now I am using Blue Mail but the result is always the same.

Go into your Gmail and delete your yahoo email account. Then use only the Yahoo email app.

Or, you can as I do, use Aqua Mail and it handles both accounts with aplomb....

I can open either separately ( which I do always ), or it can merge both into a Super Folder which just really pisses me off royally.... so I don't allow that.

Whichever way you go, go into your GMAIL account and delete any reference there to Yahoo.
I have used Yahoo email for 30+ years and I like they way they handle 'throw away' email addresses, far easier than any other email service. get spam from someone? just delete the email addy you used for them and they are gone.

Thanks for your help guys problem sort of resolved.
Removing the account from Android didn't work as I had to add it again to use the Yahoo client and the redirection returned. However I have now used the Gmail facility to link to the yahoo account which I had not done before. I can now manage both accounts from Blue mail (or Gmail) and still access all my saved emails in my Yahoo folders which I couldn't before.
    Thanks again for the help.
