After update to gingerbread I started seeing a yellow banner in the side of a window when I scroll to the edge. Is there a way to disable this? It constantly thinks I'm trying to scroll off the left edge of a page while scrolling up/down and makes parts of the page unreadable.

I am having the same problem with my phone. I would really like to disable this feature, as I find it distracting and annoying. any one with ideas?

Mine does it too, but haven't seen any setting to disable it.

It does this to let you know that you are to the end of the screen. The yellow shading that happens briefly is just a notice to let you know there is no more information past that point. Basically it is telling you to stop scrolling.
